Specific Applications

Advantages and Characteristics


  • Corrosion resistance: Incoloy 800H alloy performs well in a variety of corrosive media, including hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid, etc. It has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorides, low concentration NaOH aqueous solutions and high temperature and high pressure water. The nickel content is sufficient to prevent chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, and nickel, together with molybdenum and copper, also has excellent resistance to reducing chemicals.
  • The chromium content provides resistance to oxidizing environments.
